Ko Imari dishes

Kakiemon-style small aka-e dishes, pristine white with enamel painted butterflies, red crysanthamum blossoms, green and yellow leaves, one of which wraps over rim to an otherwise plain white exterior. Four in excellent condition, one with marred enamel. Edo Period. Priced individually $475 for the unmarrerd pieces, $60 for the marred one; if acquired as set of five, priced for only the four, $1900. 18th Century
