Ko Imari plate

A Ko-Imari blue and white (sometsuke) from pre-Genroku period (1688-1703), the interior decorated in blue underglaze narcissus design, the exterior with delicate, understated tendrils and blossoms, sitting evenly on a glazed base. Desirable size: 8-1/4" (20.6 cm) diameter, 1" (2.5 cm) high. Circa 1680.
